You guys, Kinsey and Jack have been dating forever. The reception was covered with photos of them from prom and high school marching band- so many different haircuts and stages of life have been lived together already. This wedding day was long awaited, and you could tell by the looks on their faces, and the looks on their parent's faces, this was a day that had been long prayed for as well. 

Top moments:

1. during their vows, which they had written for one another secretly, Kinsey and Jack both quoted the EXACT same line from the office: "When you're a kid, you assume your parents are soulmates. My kids are gonna be right about that" y'all, office quotes are my love language. 

2. jack's face when Kinsey walked down the aisle. are you kidding me? I don't think there was a dry eye in the entire place.

3. the father of the bride's speech. maybe it's the pregnancy hormones, but I cried the entire way through this. I'm paraphrasing, but he opened with something like this: "when kinsey was a little girl, she had a magnet that she had made at school with her picture in it. on the frame, it said "my heart belongs to daddy." but I knew that could never be true, because from the second I held her in the hospital, I knew that my heart would forever belong to her." BYE, I'M WEEPING IN THE FETAL POSITION ON THE FLOOR. 

Basically, from start to finish, you could tell that Jack and Kinsey are beyond loved and cherished by their friends, family, and one another. it's a beautiful thing to be able to celebrate that much love for a living. 

chappell hill wedding | bethany+cody

There are about 8 million things I loved about Bethany and Cody's sweet church wedding in Chappell Hill. But I'll just narrow it down a little bit for you:

1. COORDINATING COUSINS: all of the little cousins showed up to this wedding MATCHING. suspenders and all. you guys, I just DIED. they were so very sweet all lined up in a row together during the ceremony, and playing around the yard during the reception. sorry, Bethany, that all of your wedding photos are of children. oops. 

2. venue: after the ceremony, the bride and groom hosted the most intimate reception at Bethany's late grandmother's coffee shop on Main Street in Chappell Hill. it was the most beautiful space, but more than just aesthetics, you could actually feel the warmth and love that had been poured into the building. 

3. family, family, family: some of my favorite images from the day were of Bethany's mom putting on her necklace. it was the necklace that she wore on her own wedding day, and there is just something that is beyond words about the legacy of a marriage that has stood the test of time. both Bethany and Cody's family (and friends) were beyond hospitable and welcoming. 

I could go on and on for days, but I'll cut it off there. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to photograph such a special day (and so many cute children.)

houston wedding, brennan's of houston | sara+kyle

should all weddings include brunch? YEAH, PROBABLY! Sara and Kyle celebrated their wedding day with their closest friends and family and you could definitely feel the love. I'll always enjoy a big, blow out wedding, but there's something super special to me about these small, intimate celebrations (maybe it's my super introverted-ness). but no matter your preferences about weddings, you just can't beat brunch, banana's fosters (prepped by the bride and groom, WHAT?!), and a rousing rendition of fight, raiders, fight (unedited, of course). congratulations, mr. and mrs. wolfe!
